Alethevia LLC ("Alethevia," "we," "us," or "our") is a Florida limited liability company that operates the website at alethevia.com (the "Site") and provides educational content production and consulting services. Our primary place of business is Ormond Beach, Florida, United States.

When you use our contact form, schedule a consultation, or email us, you voluntarily provide:

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect limited technical information:
- Your IP address (used for rate limiting and spam prevention; stored with your ticket for 90 days, then deleted)
- Your browser type and version (user agent string)
- The pages you visited and the time of your visit (server access logs, retained 30 days)
We do not use third-party analytics trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising cookies). We do not build advertising profiles.

- A cookie-consent cookie that remembers your dismissal of our cookie notice

- Hosting: InterServer, Inc. — our website is hosted on their servers
- CDN and security: Cloudflare, Inc. — provides content delivery and DDoS protection
- Scheduling: Cal.com — if you book a consultation, your information is also stored by Cal.com under their own privacy policy
- Payment processing: Stripe, Inc. — if you purchase a paid consultation, Stripe processes the payment (we never see your card details)
We require these providers to safeguard your information and use it only for the services they provide us.
We do not sell personal information to any third party.
We may disclose information if required by a valid legal process (subpoena, court order), to protect our rights or safety, or to protect others from harm.
6. How long we keep your information
- Contact form submissions: 24 months from submission, unless we engage in a project (in which case, for the duration of the project plus 7 years for tax and accounting purposes)
- IP addresses attached to tickets: 90 days
- Server access logs: 30 days
- Email correspondence: 24 months after last contact
- Records of signed contracts and invoices: 7 years (U.S. tax law requirement)

- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

8. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold:
- All traffic to alethevia.com is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+)
- Administrative access uses magic-link authentication with JWT session cookies (no passwords stored)
- Database files are stored on an access-controlled server
- We use rate limiting and honeypot fields to block automated abuse
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Children
Our services are intended for businesses, educators, and professionals. They are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our servers are located in the United States (New Jersey). If you are outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. By submitting your information, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients.
